With two NASCAR races at Phoenix Raceway annually, our city attracts tens of thousands of race fans who come to town for a thrilling experience. Avondale is where racing champions are crowned! As a young, family-oriented community, we welcome families from out of town who are here to participate in a myriad of regional sports tournaments all year round. For nature lovers, Avondale is home to the Tres Rios riparian habitat, miles of hiking/trails, and waterways for kayaking and canoeing.
