Devon Doggett Takes on Sports Sales Manager Role for Visit Frisco
(Frisco, Texas) January 16, 2025 – Visit Frisco announces the promotion of Devon Doggett to Sports Sales Manager. In this role, Doggett will expand on his first-hand working knowledge of recruiting and hosting premier sports events in Frisco, Texas. In March 2023, Doggett joined the Visit Frisco team as Sports and Events Destination Services Coordinator where he was an integral part of the team hosting successful NCAA Division I FCS Championship games, PGA Jr League Championships, LoneStar Conference tournaments, East-West Shrine Bowl, U.S. Army Bowl and Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl games, and much more.

Doggett earned the Visit Frisco Employee of the Year in 2024 for championing the Frisco experience and getting major events across the goal line.
Prior to joining the Visit Frisco team, Doggett worked in recreation services for the cities of McKinney and Irving, furthering his sports experience of working with youth football and volleyball, adult soccer and softball, sport performance, and high school sports operations. Doggett earned his Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from Midwestern State University, where he was a 3-year letterwinner as a defensive end on the football team and a member of the Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
In his spare time, Doggett competes in the Official Strongman Games where he earned a fourth place spot in the 2024 Games in Germany.
