Discover Monroe-West Monroe and the Northeast Louisiana Community Tennis Association (NLCTA) are proud to host the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) State Tennis Championships.
The championships will take place April 28–May 2, 2025, at Forsythe Tennis Center and ULM’s Heard Stadium. This weeklong event is expected to bring 1,000 student-athletes, spectators, school administrators, and coaches to the Monroe-West Monroe area.
Discover Monroe-West Monroe and NLCTA will host four divisions throughout the week:
Divisions I and II will begin play on Monday, April 28, at both ULM’s Heard Stadium and Forsythe Tennis Center, with semi-final and championship matches set for Tuesday, April 29, at Forsythe Tennis Center.
Divisions III and IV will take the courts on Thursday, May 1, with semi-final and final matches on Friday, May 2, all at Forsythe Tennis Center.
Matches will begin each day at 8:00 a.m.

The economic impact of the event is projected to be $620,850 for Ouachita Parish, with tournament participants expected to utilize around 1,100 hotel rooms throughout the week.
This year’s championship also marks a major milestone – it will be the first major event hosted at the newly updated Forsythe Tennis Center.
