Hockey Hall of Fame displays coming to Wings Event Center for Hockey Heritage Fan Fest

The K-Wings get ready for the faceoff in the first period of their 3-2 win over Indy from the Wings Event Center Saturday night. Several iconic trophies, including the Ted Lindsay Award, Conn Smythe Trophy and Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy, will be displayed at the arena on Jan. 18, 2025 as part of the Hockey Heritage Week. KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Several significant sports trophies are set to visit Kalamazoo in January.
A display from the Hockey Hall of Fame including the Conn Smythe Trophy, Ted Lindsay Award and Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy will be displayed at Wings Event Center on Jan. 18 at 2 p.m.
Fan Fest will feature interactive games, player autographs and balloon animals.
An open skate will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. A ticket to the Toledo Walleye vs. Kalamazoo K-wings Heritage Hockey Game is required for entry, which can be bought here.
The Conn Smythe Trophy is awarded to the Most Valuable Player of the Stanley Cup Playoffs each year.
The Ted Lindsay Award is awarded to the National Hockey League’s most outstanding player in the regular season as judged by the NHL Players’ Association.
The Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy is awarded each year to the leading scorer in the NHL.
Several exhibits from the Hockey Hall of Fame will also appear, including Origins of the Game, Legends of the Game, ECHL All-Star History and ECHL Early Years, along with highlighting the history of hockey in the Kalamazoo area, officials said.
The 2025 Warrior/ECHL Hockey Heritage Week is presented by Discover! Kalamazoo and Firekeepers, and will include the induction of the 17th class into the ECHL Hall of Fame on Jan. 17.
