“The proof is in the pudding”, isn’t that the old saying? In Brownwood, numerous event organizers and attendees have found out first hand the their experience when in our city has been seamless and first class. Our main goal as a city is to make all who visit “Feel Like Home” as is in our City Motto. Don’t just take it from us, here are a few examples from those who have seen it first hand:
“From the minute we got to the softball fields, we could tell that the City cared about them. We play at over 20+ facilities around Texas with my Daughter’s softball team, and none of them come close to the playing surfaces we played on in Brownwood.” Kelcy Sliger – Smash Softball
“Our experience in Brownwood was a perfect example of Texas Hospitality. We were treated like family from the minute we arrived by everyone we were fortunate enough to meet. Tournament organizers Robert Anders and Roland Soto, staff at the Coliseum and Brownwood HS, staff at the Best Western, staff at all the restaurants we ate at as well as all the random folks we crossed paths with in town were eager to welcome us and thank us for traveling to spend a week in their City. So many people were willing to go to great lengths to make our group feel welcome and have a cherished experience. The TexasBank Holiday Classic Event was meticulously planned and executed by all tournament staff. We were fortunate to have been given the opportunity to spend our time in Brownwood and now every future event we attend will be measured against the unbelievable experience our players, coaches and families had during our stay in Central Texas.” Bill Ocker – Maine Endwell Boys Basketball
