Prospect Wire Campus Series Brings 1st Event to Pennsylvania this summer!

For the first time, Prospect Wire will be headed to the great state of Pennsylvania for an event. With the introduction of the new Campus Series events, Prospect Wire aims to bring events to new areas of the country, partnering with college facilities to bring a one of a kind showcase tournament to town.

“We have been trying to come up with a plan on how we can create a different style of event, while also being able to tap into markets we have yet to break into,” explained Prospect Wire President Brian Werner. “With the campus series, Prospect Wire can look to break into states we have been unable to bring larger tournaments to, allowing us to expand our brand nationally, while providing a quality opportunity for baseball players to perform directly in front of college coaches.”

The PW Campus Series format will feature 8-12 teams competing on a college campus, with a 3 game guarantee.

DS Sports CDO Nolan Neiman stated, “with this event, teams will have a chance to play multiple games on a college campus. Our goal is to have 2 fields, with both being collegiate facilities if possible. This would be a perfect scenario that would allow all our games to take place directly in front of college coaches.”
