Prospect Wire Excited to Come to Louisiana!

Prospect Wire’s goal in 2024 was to expand to new areas. Bring PW Baseball to states and teams that have never had a chance to experience one of their events. One of those new locations is Sterlington, LA, home of the Sterlington Sports Complex. A beautiful 5 field, all turf, complex in Northern Monroe County will be host to the Northern Louisiana Open on June 21-23.

“It’s a great opportunity for Prospect Wire and we hope we can draw some talented teams to Sterlington,” remarked Brian Werner, President of Prospect Wire. “It’s a hot bed for travel baseball. We are excited to partner with Discover Monroe/West Monroe on this tournament. Scott Bruscato and Claire Stapp have been amazing, working hard to help bring PW Baseball to Louisiana for the first time.”

The tournament will feature a 3 game guarantee, with all games taking place in Sterlington. Teams will compete in DH action on Saturday, with reseeding on Sunday leading to the playoff brackets. The event is open to ages 13-18U teams.
