The Girls Academy, the only national all-female youth soccer league, has announced an exclusive partnership with Elite Tournaments as the official organizer through the remainder of the 2023–2024 season. The deal includes the GA Winter Showcase and Champions Cup in Norco, California, which will be held at the SilverLakes Sports Complex.
“Tournaments are the heartbeat of the Girls Academy, giving us periodic opportunities to come together as a league for competition, growth and development,” said Girls Academy Commissioner Patricia Hughes. “Closing out the season with a leader in youth sports like Elite Tournaments provides our clubs, players, coaches and parents with security in knowing our biggest events will be organized with high standards from start to finish. Elite Tournaments has executed hundreds of youth soccer tournaments throughout the last two decades — delivering remarkable logistics, marketing and operations across the board.”
The 2023-24 GA Winter Showcase and Champions Cup will be the first Champions Cup event of the season with all qualifying teams from Under-13 to Under-19 teams competing. The Showcase event features Under-15 through U-19 teams competing outside of their conference during the event weekend. The events will host hundreds of scouts from various colleges and universities around the country.
“We could not be more excited about teaming up with the Girls Academy for some of its most impactful events on the 2023–2024 calendar,” said Andrew Dahir, Elite Tournaments’ director of soccer. “Our two organizations are aligned and synergized around providing exceptionally well-organized events for every player, coach, parent and beyond.”
