Since the start of Playeasy, I have been to more sports complexes than I can count. This next facility on Zero Gravity’s Top 10 Facility List definitely stands out amongst the rest. With a passionate management and support team running this spacious, multi-use complex, there’s no doubt why Insports Centers has become one of the premier sports destinations in the northeast.
Originally built in 2000 as SportsZone, Insports Centers took over in 2013, turning the space into one of the most popular sports facilities in New England. The facility is now home to 3 indoor hardwood courts, the only full sized (100-yard) field in the area, the only true box arena in Connecticut, two restaurant/bars, a lounge area, performance center and much more!
No matter who you are or what you are looking for, Insports offers plenty of space for your needs. From elite competitors to recreational league players looking to play or practice, and families hoping to find a space to have fun on the weekend to organizations looking to host an event (such as a flea market!) there’s something for everyone. No matter what level of competitor, all will be equally satisfied by the quality of facilities and the range of programs they offer.
By combining top-notch recreational facilities and outstanding amenities with innovative, inclusive programming, including corporate lunch leagues, daytime restaurant leagues, senior programming, Mommy and Me classes and social games, such as Ultimate Frisbee and pickle ball, Insports fosters a community that starts on the field and encompasses everyone who works, coaches and participates.
From traditional sports such as basketball and soccer, to cornhole and pickle ball, they truly have something for everyone. As athletes are playing, parents, friends and spectators can enjoy Insports’ expanded concessions, full bar and restaurant and completely updated lounge spaces.
One of their greatest assets has been the recently renovated Game On Bar & Grill. The upper and lower bars were designed and located perfectly so that guests and members can enjoy food and drinks while watching the action on the fields and courts. Their large flatscreen TVs are always playing sports games, and their lounge area includes couches, dartboards, ping pong, table hockey and more. These offerings have made it the hot spot for adults when their league games are over, or for hosting corporate events, as well.
“We have been fortunate enough to have surrounded ourselves with some of the best sports partners in the area. We have a great track record of offering quality programming for each sport in our building. We knew it was important to find the ‘experts’ in the field and let the instruction speak for itself.”

Insports Center has a unique blend of tremendous viewing areas, great on site amenities and great courts. It is easy to see why this is Connecticut’s most requested facility for Spring Basketball.”
