Southern Indiana's hospitality industry is excited to WELCOME you back to our hotels, shops, events, and attractions! Nothing is more important than your safety - and the safety of our tourism employees across Clark and Floyd Counties. We are ready to invite you to travel, explore our communities, discover fun places, and make new memories!
New Albany restaurants serve everything from wild game burgers at Boomtown Kitchen to bibimbap at the Rice Bowl. New Albany is cooking up some of the region’s most diverse cuisine, and the crowds are packing in. At some of New Albany's most popular eateries like The Exchange or Brooklyn and the Butcher, reservations are a good idea. Most reservations can be made online.
You’ll find events with big audiences and events that pack a punch in the fun department on our Signature Events page. These events range from the world-renowned Kentucky Derby and the spectacular Thunder Over Louisville fireworks displays to large concerts like Abbey Road on the River and Harvest Homecoming, one of Indiana’s largest events.
Three major interstates give you convenient access to Southern Indiana. The main east-west travel corridor is Interstate 64, while Interstate 65 is the main north-south travel corridor. Interstate 71 connects travelers from the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas.
Something to keep in mind is that there are two toll bridges (Lincoln and Kennedy Bridges) on I-65 and one on SR 265/KY 841 (Lewis and Clark Bridge). There are also two non-tolled bridges which are the I-64 bridge (Sherman Minton) and US 31 bridge (Clark Memorial). Don't look for toll booths, RiverLink is an all-electronic tolling system.
