About Visit Lake Tahoe

The competitive spirit is alive and well in Lake Tahoe. Over the years, we’ve hosted global sporting events–tournaments, championships, competitions–that claim places in history. Plan your next sporting event here and carry on the tradition.

Rain or shine, it’s going down at Lake Tahoe. With sandy beaches, sparkling waters and snowy peaks, we’re proud to be the home of all seasons sports. Swim, stroke, ski and snowboard at dozens of venues, including indoor and outdoor options.

At Lake Tahoe, don’t just play–stay and enjoy the local scene, too. Choose from family-owned, all-seasons resorts, inns, hotels and cabins to host the whole team. Once the games are over, hit the town and celebrate in style at local taverns, bars, and fine dining. Victory has never been so sweet.

Things to do in Visit Lake Tahoe

When it comes to things to do in Lake Tahoe’s South Shore, you can shred down the mountain from 10,067 ft. at Heavenly Mountain Resort’s peak or you can dive into the depths of Lake Tahoe. It’s more than 1600 ft. deep, making it one of the deepest lakes in North America. Needless to say, there’s plenty of things to do in Lake Tahoe above and below the surface.
