Lancaster, California boasts an exceptional array of sports facilities that cater to both athletes and sports enthusiasts alike. James C. Gilley Lancaster National Soccer Center is the largest soccer complex in the West. The facility includes 35 premium fields, with 11 fully lighted fields, as well as five FIFA regulation fields. The Lancaster National Soccer Center hosts many regional and national tournaments throughout the year. The Big 8 Softball Complex consists of eight championship softball fields and is located at Sgt. Steve Own Memorial Park. The complex is home to 800+ tournament teams and 460+ league teams annually. The tournament season runs from March-November and showcases tournaments from ASA (Amateur Softball Association), USSSA (United States Specialty Sports Association), SCMAF (Southern California Municipal Athletic Federation), CIF (California Interscholastic Federation), and has 10 batting cages, plus much more. Sgt. Steve Own Memorial Park boasts an incredible array of pickleball and tennis courts for players to enjoy year-round.
