The Paducah Ambassadors, also known as the "Red Coats" for their distinctive red jackets, are dedicated volunteers who generously offer their time, energy, and expertise to welcome visitors and guests at special events like groundbreakings and ribbon cuttings. As a hospitality organization, the Ambassadors represent Paducah and McCracken County at official events, celebrations, conventions, and meetings. Their duties include greeting guests in downtown Paducah, assisting visitors during AQS QuiltWeek™, welcoming the public before City Commission meetings, assisting with meeting registration, and much more.
