2024 Teddy Bear Classic

Today, the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is the longest-running cold weather bowl game in college football.  It has hosted 28 different universities and has seen 21 first-round NFL Draft picks come through.  The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is a celebration of the spirit of winter in the beautiful Idaho mountains.  That includes football.  And potatoes.

The roster includes five early-season college football games, 17 college bowl games, 12 college basketball events and a college softball event, which accounts for approximately 400 hours of live programming, reaches nearly 64 million viewers and attracts over 800,000 attendees each year.

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Jr. Steelheads (JRS) Winter Classic tournament for U12B and U10AB!

 

All JRS tournaments will be sanctioned by USA Hockey.
Games will be played under USA Hockey rules, IAHA rules and any additional rules imposed by JRS and approved by IAHA and USA Hockey.
Body checking is not permitted.
Application deadline is 30 days prior to the tournament start date however, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible as our tournaments fill up fast (late applications will only be accepted if space is available.) Full payment is required at time of application. Once the application and payment have been received, you will receive confirmation of acceptance pending availability in the tournament. Please DO NOT book your hotel blocks without consulting the Tournament Director. Final selection will be approved by the Hockey Director.

 

Final Tournament Schedule will be released at least one week prior to tournament.
