BY AIR: Newark International Airport is just 35 miles from the center of Somerville. Take I-78 West for 27 miles to exit 29 – I-287 S – toward Somerville. After 4 miles, take exit 17 (on the left) for US-22 toward Somerville. Follow US-22 for 2 miles and then make a right onto North Bridge Street, which you will follow for 1 mile, when you will reach the town center.
BY BUS: New Jersey Transit buses run from New York’s Port Authority to Bound Brook, Branchburg, Bridgewater, Montgomery, North Plainfield, Somerville and Watchung.
BY CAR:
From the West: Route 22 East to Grove St. Somerville Exit. Right on Grove; immediate left into parking lot.
From the East: Route 22 West to Grove St. Somerville Exit. Left on Grove St.; first right into parking lot.
From the North: I-287 South to Routes 202-206 South to Route 22 East. Follow “From the West” directions.
From the South: I-287 North to Route 22 West, Exit 14-B. Follow “From the East” directions.
