🎉 BIG NEWS 🎉 Greater Lansing has been selected to host two major NCAA championship events! 🏆 In 2026, we’ll welcome the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Regionals at Forest Akers Golf Courses, teaming up with Michigan State University Athletics for this prestigious event!

Lansing once again representing on the international stage! 🇺🇸 🙌 A few local footgolfers recently competed in Scotland for United States FootGolf in the Jansen Cup and Scottish Open, and now they’re back for more footgolf right here at home! ⚽🏌️‍♂️

Hope Sports Complex is one of the host facilities for the annual Capital Area Autumn Classic kicking off this Friday! ⚽️ Approximately 3500 athletes will gather in Greater Lansing for the weekend-long tournament hosted by Nationals Soccer. 🏆

Something special returns to Mason, MI this year. It’s a national sporting event unlike any other, and with it will be as many as 10,000 athletes, coaches, parents, and spectators. To be sure, the Lansing area is no stranger to hosting sporting events – just this month the area will see tennis, softball, and rugby events – but none of these events will bring representative athletes from 455 high schools across the country.

This spring brought dozens of sporting events and more than 10,000 athletes to Greater Lansing. 🎉🎖 From national events like USA Taekwondo and USA Hockey to NCAA regionals and statewide events, our team stayed busy this spring ensuring every tournament received the high level of service we pride ourselves on!

Our team had a busy weekend kicking off our summer season of sports events in Greater Lansing! 🎉 We had three Michigan High School Athletic Association semi-finals and finals (baseball, softball, and soccer), as well as the Chaos Summer Showcase and the Michigan High School Clay Target League State Tournament. 🏆⚾️⚽️

In Greater Lansing, LGBTQIA+ athletes will find a variety of leagues and organizations fostering a safe and supportive environment, from the new shuffleboard leagues with GAAY Sports to nonbinary inclusive National Dodgeball Association leagues and Lansing Roller Derby – there’s something for everyone! 🏳️‍🌈⁠

We had a great week hosting the 2024 NCAA Women’s Golf Regionals! The event included a record-breaking round, beautiful weather, and Michigan State Women’s Golf punched their ticket to the national championships! ⛳️ Learn more about golf venues in the Lansing area here!

We are excited to host NCAA women’s golf, USA Taekwondo regionals, Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference baseball championships and several other sports events in May! Have you been to Lansing’s premier BMX track? 🚵 Capital City Family BMX is open to riders of all ages and abilities with weekly races during the summer and free one day memberships and ribbon races for first time riders.⁠
