About International Trails Pre-Summit Workshops 2025

The International Trails Summit is a joint event hosted by American Trails and the Professional TrailBuilders Association (PTBA) and presented every other year. This year's event will be held in Madison, WI while many pre-Summit workshops will be held at the Community Trail Farm in La Crosse, WI, in partnership with the Outdoor Recreation Alliance. This site has opportunity for stonework, mechanized construction, and trail planning.

Pre-summit workshops are an optional way for attendees to extend their learning. Workshops are hands-on, small group learning opportunities. They are add-ons and not included in conference registration. You do not have to be a Summit attendee to register for a workshop.
