About 2023 Cape Cod Senior Softball Classic

Thank you for your interest in The Cape Cod Senior Softball Classic!

Our tournament is an independent “Invitational” for teams rated AAA or less. We use the Senior Softball-USA Official Team Ratings (www.seniorsoftball.com) as our official ratings. Where a team is not rated by SS-USA, the Tournament Director, at his sole discretion, will determine that team’s rating.

Priority Invitations are given to the previous year’s participants, but new applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis to fill bracket openings.

When: September 8, 9, and 10 for the 50+, 60+, and 65+ Divisions

September 11, 12, and 13 for the 70+, 75+ and 80+ Divisions

Where: Our fields are located in Harwich, Dennis and Yarmouth – Divisional Assignment TBD

Entrance Fee: $600 Guest Teams, $300 CCSSL Affiliated Teams

Games Format, by Division:

Seeding games: two on day 1 and two on Day 2
Single Elimination on Day 3
Noteworthy

We are adding two new fields for the tournament. Bassett Field is in Harwich and directly across the street from our other two fields. A second field will be in Dennisat Kelley Park adjacent to the field used last tournament. Both will feature 300-foot fences. The Dennis Park has lighting – we’re contemplating some activities to take advantage of this feature. Stay tuned.

The additional venues will open scheduling to allow more time for and between games. It also will create space for additional teams to join the event.
