Join us for the US Quadball National Qualifier event, where teams will compete for a spot at the US Quadball Cup in April. Quadball, formerly known as Quidditch, is a full-contact sport played with a broomstick held between the legs of each athlete.

US Quadball National Qualifier

Quadball™ was founded in 2005 at Middlebury College by Xander Manshel and Alex Benepe. Looking for a variation on their normal Sunday activities, they gathered friends and laid the foundation for a game that has grown in leaps and bounds to become a widely respected, physically intense sport.

Inspired by the sport of Quidditch, Quadball is a mixed-gender contact sport with a unique mix of elements from rugby, dodgeball, and tag. A Quadball team is made up of seven athletes who play with brooms between their legs at all times. While the game can appear chaotic to the casual observer, once familiar with the basic rules, Quadball is an exciting sport to watch and even more exciting to play.
