The National League Regional Showcases are focused on providing localized recruiting opportunities. Understanding that a significant percentage of students attend colleges within three hours of the home, the Regional Showcases will bring a recruitable moment closer to a player's home — saving valuable time and resources for the parents, the club, and the attending scouts.

 Teams in the National League Conferences will get primary access to the National League Regional Showcases, while teams from outside leagues and organizations can apply to participate in the showcases to see if they are able to compete with teams from the National League Conferences. Massachusetts and its neighboring states are home to over 190 NCAA (Divisions I, II and III) soccer programs, 57% of Division III colleges are located in the East Region and Progin Park is within 100 miles of 12% (50 of 412) of the nation’s NCAA Division III soccer programs.

Founded in 1999, Elite Development Program Soccer (EDP) is one of the largest organizers of youth soccer leagues and tournaments in the U.S. EDP operates youth leagues for boys and girls ages 9-19, conducts a Festival program for players ages 7-8, and operates U20/23 men’s and women’s leagues. EDP also runs over 20 tournaments each year, and partner company iSE runs 10+ tournaments each year . One of the major priorities of EDP’s leagues and tournaments is to enable soccer players to reach their full potential, with an emphasis on attending college. More than 6,000 teams participate in EDP’s leagues and more than 170,000 players compete in EDP tournaments annually.

EDP Soccer manages four US Youth Soccer National League Conferences in the East Region.
