About USA Catchball 2026 & 2027 Annual Tournament

USA Catchball, a rapidly growing women’s sport, is excited to invite cities to submit proposals to
host our prestigious 2026 Annual Tournament. Originating from the U.S. game Newcomb, Catchball
is similar to volleyball but uniquely tailored for women aged 25 and older, fostering women’s
empowerment, a healthy lifestyle for mind and body alike, and a strong sense of community. Played
across the nation and in over 50 countries, Catchball continues to expand, with USA Catchball
currently supporting over 50 teams across 14 states.

The Annual Tournament is our signature event, uniting women from across the U.S. and
internationally for a weekend of thrilling competition and meaningful social connections. For 2026,
we are seeking a host city that shares our values of inclusivity, safety, diversity, and women’s
empowerment, and can provide a top-tier experience for all participants.

As we seek to create a welcoming and safe
environment for all participants, cities that are
members of Compete Sports Diversity will
be given preference if they meet the event
requirements. Compete Sports Diversity
emphasizes the importance of safe and inclusive
environments, and we are proud to partner with
organizations and cities that share our values.
