The Sports Division of Northstar Meetings Group, organizer of the TEAMS Conference & Expo, TEAMS Europe, and the EsportsTravel Summit, has opened its bidding process to identify potential host-city partners for the EsportsTravel Summit. The leading conferences for esports-event organizers is open for the following years: 2026, 2027, 2029 and 2030.
The EsportsTravel Summit is the preeminent gathering for esports tournaments and events. The event is the exclusive co-location partner for the U.S. Esports Federation.
In 2023, the EsportsTravel Summit also welcomed the largest group of organizers and attendees in its history, with more than 350 participants taking advantage of the opportunity to learn, network and generate business development.
“Our events saw record growth in 2023 and we are looking forward to partnering with destinations that want to be at the forefront of the continued growth of the sports-events industry by hosting these key industry events in the years to come,” said Jason Gewirtz, vice president of the Northstar Meetings Group Sports Division.
Destinations interested in bidding have until February 1, 2024, to submit their bids. Interested cities are encouraged to use the time before that date to ask questions they may have about the bidding process. The Summit will be held between June 15 and July 31 of each year and will typically begin on a Tuesday and
conclude on the following Thursday. A Welcome Celebration will be held on Tuesday evening.
