About 2024 Back to the Hardwood Volleyball Tournament

The MSU Men’s Volleyball Club welcomes all the players, officials, coaches, families, and fans annually to the largest men’s volleyball pre-season tournament in the country!

MSU students named the event in 1990, based on the sometimes challenging transition from the sandy beaches of the Great Lakes to the hardwood courts at the IM West facility. The “Back to the Hardwood” event has come to represent a time of renewal each year when teams play in pre-season competition, make and renew friendships and plan for the upcoming MIVA/NCVF volleyball season.
