About Rock Hill Velodrome

Welcome to the Rock Hill Velodrome! The Rock Hill Velodrome is an outdoor 250m concrete oval track used for track cycling. The track is built to Olympic standards with embankments of 42.5 degrees in the corners and 17 degrees on the front and back straights. The facility is owned, operated, maintained and programmed by the City of Rock Hill Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department.

For the safety of all, riders must complete the track’s Certification Course or show proof of prior certification before riding on the track. The course is offered monthly Mar. – Oct. Because of the steep embankments of the track, a specific track bike is required, rather than a road or street bike. Track bikes can be rented at the facility.
