Lake Wilmore Community Center: A Hub of Activity and Recreation
The Lake Wilmore Community Center, opening in Auburn, boasts two full-sized basketball courts, fitness rooms, an indoor walking track, locker rooms, and multi-use activity spaces. The center features a heated, zero-entry pool and lap pool, both usable year-round. Additionally, there are twelve covered lit pickleball courts and a multi-use/party room. Offices, conference rooms, and storage spaces are also available. The City plans a second phase in 2024/2025, adding four lighted multi-purpose synthetic turf fields for year-round sports. This $22 million project, part of Auburn's Parks, Recreation, & Culture Master Plan, is set to complete by October 2024.
