Situated in North Miami Beach just inland from Sunny Isles Beach and Oleta River State Park, Greynolds Golf Course is a unique nine-hole, par-36 course designed by Mark Mahannah in 1964. While it may have half as many holes as a championship regulation course, Greynolds’ 3,100 yards of rolling greens are nonetheless challenging for players of all levels. Managed by the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces department, this public golf course is accessible to all with reasonable green fees, club rentals and electric golf carts. There’s also a spacious clubhouse with a pro shop. In accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, tee times must be reserved in advance with no more than ten players and masks and social distancing are required. With the cool ocean breeze from the Atlantic and Miami’s warm sunshine, an afternoon of golf at Greynolds is a wonderful way to spend some time outdoors.
