About University of Delaware

The University of Delaware is a public land-grant research university located in Newark, Delaware. UD is the largest university in Delaware. It offers three associate's programs, 148 bachelor's programs, 121 master's programs, and 55 doctoral programs across its eight colleges.

Our student-athletes put up some impressive numbers, on the scoreboard and in the classroom. University of Delaware's rich athletics tradition began in 1889 and continues to this day. Our students, faculty and staff also regularly participate in dozens of intramural, club sport and fitness activities.
