About Red Wing Athletic Field

The Red Wing Athletic Field serves as home to the Red Wing Aces, the Red Wing High School Wingers, the Red Wing VFW, and American Legion baseball teams. Along with three youth field that is home to Red Wing Youth teams they make up the Red Wing Athletic Field Baseball Complex. THE ATH as it is often referred to has hosted 4 MBA State Tournaments and has been chosen for over 2 decades, as the site for the, Section 1AAA High School Final Four Playoffs. Dimensions read; 320’and 330’ down the lines, 365’ to the power alleys, and 375’ to straightaway center. A covered grandstand from the dugout to dugout gives those fans wanting some shade a great place to watch a ball game. Those seeking sun can choose between putting their lawn chairs on the hill down the first baseline or joining the Bleacher Bums in the centerfield bleachers. A full-service concession stand is open for all Red Wing Aces games and the majority of the other games played there. Every year, approx. 100 games are played at THE ATH. Add to that the 200 plus youth games and practices that take place there and you can see why THE ATH is called “The Home of Red Wing Baseball”.
