Auburn's track and field legacy spans six decades, evolving from a dirt track in the 1920s to the modern Hutsell-Rosen Track, completed in 2006. This top-tier facility boasts Beynon Sports Surface's BSS 2000 track, grandstand seating, lighting, and more. Named after Auburn's first head track coach, Wilbur Hutsell, the track has seen various surfaces, including Grasstex and Rekortan. Renovations in 1988 and 1997, including lighting additions, showcase Auburn's commitment to excellence in track and field facilities, culminating in the impressive Hutsell-Rosen Track—a testament to Auburn's athletic heritage.
