About Hickory Point Recreational Park

Created as a unique, recreational waterfront park, the 68-acre facility is located near the City of Tavares. With 12 paved boat ramps and ample parking for vehicle and boat trailers, the park is most popular among boaters. However, Hickory Point is no average recreational park. The highlight of Hickory Point is its two-story, screened picnic pavilion with first-floor picnic tables and barbecue grills. The second floor features two screened banquet rooms. The pavilion also has a kitchen workspace with countertops and a sink, but no refrigeration is available. The pavilion can accommodate small groups or large gatherings of up to 275 people.

Hickory Point is also home to the Mike Stone Soccer Complex and Hickory Point Beach Sand Volleyball Complex.
