Wilmot Mountain is part of Vail Resorts, the premier mountain resort company, and conveniently located halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee. The resort boasts 120 skiable acres, 23 unique trails, five chairlifts, a newly-transformed terrain park, a 22-lane tubing area, a state-of-the-art ski school for children and adults, three restaurants and ample communal area to deliver an all-encompassing experience fit for all, from newcomers to seasoned skiers and riders.

Wilmot is focused on an improved guest experience with revamped lifts and restaurants along with significant snowmaking enhancements – all to create fun, accessible and affordable memories for families and friends alike. The renowned ski school program allows newcomers (or those who need a refresher) to build a strong foundation for the sport, featuring private and group lessons for both children and adults, and multi day-or-week programs, specialty camps and youth race development programs.

Wilmot also offers Vail Resorts’ Epic Pass, allowing guests unlimited, unrestricted skiing at Vail’s best resorts. The pass continues to be the best value and most popular lift product, and is customizable on a local, national and international level. Snow Tubing at Wilmot Mountain: Snow Tubing has quickly become one of the fastest growing Winter activities and it is easy to see why. No need for a lesson, because all you have to do is grab a tube, have a seat, and let gravity be your friend. The Snow Tubing Area is located half a mile south of the main ski and snowboard entrance, at the intersection of County Hwy CK and Hwy W. Must be 42" tall to tube. All tubers must be in individual tubes (which are provided), lap sitting is not permitted. Stop in at our Tubing Concessions and get yourself some Sweets & Treats in between runs!

In 2016, Vail Resorts unveiled more than $13 million worth of improvements encompassing every aspect of the guest experience, from the terrain and lifts, to base area facilities and snowmaking technology at Wilmot Mountain and the resort continues its commitment to excellence.
