The Carolina Ice Palace is a state of the art facility featuring two NHL sized ice rinks, full service pro shop, meeting rooms, concessions stand and the Penalty Box Sports Lounge. Since 1997 the Carolina Ice Palace has hosted numerous hockey tournaments and figure skating competitions including the USA Hockey “Pee Wee” National Championship and the South Atlantic Regionals Figure Skating Championships. The NHL’s Buffalo Sabres and St. Louis Blues have skated at the Carolina Ice Palace along with Gold Medal Olympian, Tara Lipinski. Home to the Charleston Youth Hockey Association and Figure Skating Club of Charleston, the facility is open year round and is also the official practice facility of the South Carolina Stingrays.
