Poinsett State Park campground has 50 campsites including 24 sites with individual water & electrical hookups and 26 tent sites. Cabins are also available to rent. The park and campground are located in the High Hills of Santee and the fall line of the Upper Coastal Plain. The 1,000 acre park has a variety of habitats for visitors to enjoy and explore.
The campground has drinking water, flush toilets, showers and a dump station. You can also purchase firewood from the friendly campground host. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate. There’s also a camp store/gift shop and boat rentals available.

Poinsett State Park has a 10-acre lake, swamps, sand hills, mountain buffs, and a hardwood forest visitors can explore. Outdoor recreation includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, volleyball, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
