The John A. Daskalakis Athletic Center houses the Drexel basketball programs as well as Drexel's intramural and intercollegiate athletic programs. OThe two-story, four-level structure covers a three-acre area on the north side of Market Street between 33rd and 34th streets in the University City section of Philadelphia. This is room for three hardwood courts in the gymnasium with portable multipurpose courts available if necessary for all indoor sport needs. The facility includes a collegiate-sized, six-lane swimming pool and a separate three-board diving well on the lower level. The athletic offices, locker rooms and athletic training room are located on the ground level.
The Kline & Specter Squash Center is located in the John A. Daskalakis Athletic Center. The courts were made possible by the generosity of Tom Kline and Shanin Specter, partners in Kline & Specter, P.C. law firm in Philadelphia. The facility features seven courts - five competitive and two recreational - as well as a team room and comfortable seating areas for spectators.
There is also a wrestling practice facility within the DAC, with multipurpose floors available for a variety of use.
Vidas Field, located at the front of the Drexel outdoor athletics Complex, serves as home to the Drexel Men's & Women's Soccer teams as well as the Men's & Women's Lacrosse teams. In the summer of 2015, Vidas field received a complete makeover, with a whole new surface, Shaw synthetic turf, installed. Similar to the predecessor, the field is laid with a rubber infill system.
Buckley Field is an astroturf field within the Vidas Athletic Complex. Buckley Field also underwent a complete renovation and facility upgrade in the summer of 2017.
Drexel’s Softball field sits at the top of the Complex, with a 205-foot fence to centerfield and 195-foot fences to both left and right fields. Equipped with a new irrigation system, the field is comprised of a mixture of dirt and clay, with a grass outfield and gravel warning track encompassing it. Each dugout now has a padded fence to protect players within, and is also equipped with a bat rack and helmet cubbies. The right field fence was redone in 2015 as to accommodate fans to watch the game from the outfield, and now curves, as opposed to being in a straight line. In addition, the bullpen plates now have an 8-foot fence to protect fans from warmups. The batting cages, located behind the centerfield fence, are comprised of a synthetic turf surface and netting.
Vidas Courts are located adjacent to the soccer field and serve as home to the Drexel Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams. The nine courts were refinished prior to the start of the 2017 season, with additions of trashcans on each of the courts. Drexel-branded windscreens surround the courts and provide a controlled setting for play.
Maguire Field is an auxiliary turf field located near Drexel's campus. Finally, The Armony is used as an indoor practice facility for Drexel's men's and women's tennis progam as well as the women's softball team.
