A course built on Scottish roots, Briarmeade now has a new name, "Links at Briarmeade". Links at Briarmeade is located in North East Alabama and is open for "Public Play". The course was designed by Mr. George Black, a native of Carnoustie, Scotland.

The 18-hole “Briarmeade” course in Glencoe, Alabama features 6,066 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 68.0 and it has a slope rating of 120.
