The Pettit Center is pleased to have a wide variety of sports based at our facility. They include:
Figure Skating- Our figure skating program offers skaters the ability to take their talent to the next level. The Pettit Center’s figure skate training program features: Daily rink ice sessions, Off-ice classes the ability to contract (plan your skating ahead of time) your rink ice time or buy-on the day of a session.
Hockey- Our hockey program is for both youth & adults, so if you are a hockey player or want to become one, we’ve got you covered. The Pettit Center Hockey Program features: Youth Hockey, Adult Hockey, Pick-Up Hockey, Youth and Adult Hockey Camps and Learn to Play Hockey through our Skating School.
Speedskating- From its beginning as “Olympic Oval” to where we are today as the Pettit National Ice Center, we have always been a center for speed skating excellence. As an Official US Olympic Training Site for Long Track Speedskating we host a variety of local, regional, national and international events as well as daily training for those pursuing their Olympic dream. We also have a Learn to Speedskate class and local speedskating clubs that can help you further your skating dreams no matter how big or small they might be.
Curling- The Pettit National Ice Center is pleased to have curling as a part of its sports opportunities to offer. We offer Curling on a group/corporate basis year-round for anyone interested. We have four lanes which can accommodate up to 32 players at a given time in our West Rink.
Run-Walk Track– Considered one of the hidden gems for the local runner or walker, the Pettit Center 443 meter indoor run-walk track is open year round. You never have to worry about rain, snow, wind, barking dogs, potholes or anything else on the newly renovated three lane track. Admission is $4 per day with other discount packages available.
