Waters Edge designed the Furman Aquatic Center to fulfill the recreational and competitive aquatic requests of the citizens of Ames. Furman Aquatic Center is loaded with features, including a 50-meter competition pool equipped with a 1-meter spring board and a 3-meter platform. The recreational features include zero-depth entry, spray features, a large play structure, basketball hoops, a toddler slide, and a 550 foot lazy river with spray features. For the thrill seekers, the design included 2 tremendous water slides, a drop slide, and a family slide.
