Steinbrenner Field is Tampa’s premier special events facility and spring home to the New York Yankees and low-A affiliate, the Tampa Tarpons. George M. Steinbrenner’s legacy in Tampa is as rich as his character was and his endless pursuit of excellence continues to be carried out by the Yankees organization today.
