Come out and play! 49 parks, playgrounds and open spaces total approximately 1,500+ acres. Indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, ball fields, trails picnic shelters, skate park, two dog parks and an outdoor theater. Iowa City has many fine park facilities and leisure programs that provide numerous benefits for our residents.
