The Albany County Hockey Facility was built in 1990 as a training center for the USA Hockey program. It has 6 locker rooms, the Center Ice Café provides concessions, and the Hockey Store N More Pro Shop provides a stellar skate sharpening service and a solid selection of gear. The rink typically runs a 10 month schedule; open from July 5th to the end of April.
NHL size (200’x85’). The rink regularly hosts multiple area hockey teams and leagues: Siena College, Shaker-Colonie High school, Christian Brothers Academy, the Troy-Albany Hockey Association, Tri-City Hockey League, Labatt Hockey League, the Albany Cougars, Bethlehem Youth Hockey, and Clifton Park Youth Hockey.
