About Gettysburg Recreation Park

The area recreation park, under the management of the Gettysburg Area Recreation Authority (GARA), provides many park services, facilities and recreational programs for the residents of Gettysburg and the surrounding townships. In addition to maintaining the Borough's 52 acre park GARA organizes year round sports and recreation programs for people of all ages.

Recreation Park
The 52 acre recreation park located at 545 Long Lane in Gettysburg is home to 7 baseball and softball fields, one football field, 3 pavilions, 2 basketball courts, 3 playgrounds, an amphitheater, a 20 station fitness trail and a skate park. A walking path has been added.
