Welcome to Kiwanis Park, home of baseball in Salem since 1932. Today, the facility plays host to Salem High School and Andrew Lewis Middle School baseball, American Legion tournaments and many USSSA events throughout the year.
Originally known as Salem Municipal Field, the park hosted Salem’s Carolina League teams including the Salem-Roanoke Friends, Rebels, Pirates, Redbirds, Buccaneers and Avalanche before the franchise moved to a new stadium less than a mile away. Prior to Salem Stadium being built in 1995, Municipal Field also hosted Andrew Lewis High School and Salem High School football games.
Today, the facility is owned by the City of Salem and maintained by the Salem Parks & Recreation department.
