Coyer Field opened in the early 1960s as natural grass surface. The current facility has seating capacity for 3,000, a 400-meter track, an all-sport scoreboard, jumping pits, and a 35-seat press box. The field serves as the home for football, men's and women's soccer, women's lacrosse, and men's and women's outdoor track and field. Construction was completed in August, 2008, to convert the playing surface to a synthetic grass surface supplied by A-Turf.
The Sports Arena boasts a 3,500-seat basketball arena and a one-tenth-mile (160 meter) indoor track. The Arena sits adjacent to the 1,800-seat Ice Arena (Buffalo's only collegiate ice rink), and houses the Buffalo State Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame. The Sports Arena is the home venue for men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball and indoor track and field, and is a practice facility for several of Buffalo State's other teams.
Opened in 1991, the Ice Arena boasts seven locker rooms, a concession area, vending machines, a skate shop with sharpening and rentals, a 200' x 85' ice surface and a seating capacity of 1,800.
The completely renovated Kissinger Pool reopened in Summer 2014. The six-lane, 25-yard facility with a seating capacity of 200, is equipped with a Colorado Timing System and a new sound system, scoreboard and record board. The diving end is 12' deep with starting blocks and one and three-meter diving boards. The shallow end is 3' 6" with handicap lift.
Buffalo State played its first game on its new softball field on March 27, 2003, defeating Penn State Behrend, 12-8. The complex features a permanent fence with a warning track and a Daktroniks scoreboard. During the fall of 2012, the facility was upgraded with dugouts and permanent bullpens.
The redesigned facility features bright and easy wayfinding, all new staff offices, a beautiful new Fitness Center, an upgraded Kissinger Pool and Houston Gymnasium recreation and practice facility, an expanded Varsity Weight Room, a state-of-the-art athletic training and rehab facility, the Carolyn Lehr Student-Athlete Academic Center, a multi-purpose studio, three refinished racquetball courts, a spinning room, locker rooms dedicated year-round to all of the Bengals' outdoor sports teams as well as swimming and diving, and more.
