Southside Park is one of County Rec’s premier facilities offering tournament-quality playing fields, tennis and pickleball courts, multiple playgrounds, shelters and of course is home to Discovery Island Waterpark.

Located in the popular and growing area known as the Golden Strip (Mauldin-Simpsonville area), the popular park sees more than 200,000 yearly visitors. Families and individuals can enjoy access to the 8 tennis courts, playground, and shelter while many teams enjoy playing Rec League soccer at the rectangular fields.

With so much to do all conveniently located in one park, shelter rentals are very popular –especially during the Summer waterpark season– so you are encouraged to book ahead…and enjoy!
