Opened August 2011 at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, the new 79,423-square-foot indoor Greensboro Aquatic Center (GAC) is a state-of-the-art facility featuring leading edge concepts in aquatic design. The GAC brings together all major aquatic sports – competitive swimming and diving, water polo, synchronized swimming and other unique sports all in one venue. Features a competitive pool, diving well and warm-up pool. In addition to meeting NCAA and FINA standards and meeting the requirement to hold USA Swimming meets, Master’s swimming and U.S. Water Polo events, visitors can swim and splash at this innovative swimming facility on non-event days!
