About Huntsville Aquatic Center

The Huntsville Aquatics Center opened in 2017 and immediately made a splash nationally. It is unique with its two 50-meter indoor competition pools under the same roof, and the largest pool has spectator seating for more than 1,400, deck space seating for more than 400 competitors. The other amenities – locker rooms, meeting space, an instructional/therapeutic pool – are first-rate, and designers emphasized a state-of-the-art ventilation system that leaves the air clear of a stifling chlorine smell.
