Athletes from a wide spectrum of sports enjoy the scenic tranquility of this palm-lined, centrally located park in West Palm Beach. Stretching across 70 acres, the park’s five lighted multipurpose fields can accommodate lacrosse, rugby, soccer and especially football, thanks to their regulation goalposts. Lake Lytal is also recognized as a prime site for aquatic competition. The centerpiece of the Lake Lytal Family Aquatic Center is a 50-meter Olympic-sized pool with 21 short-course lanes or 10 long-course lanes, 1- and 3-meter diving boards and three slide flumes enjoyed by, among others, the Lake Lytal Lightning youth swim team. Racquet sports are also a focus of this scenic park, with four lighted racquetball/handball courts with full-length side walls. Lake Lytal also has facilities for baseball, basketball and tennis.
