The Henry T. Bream Physical Education Building was completed in January, 1962. The 3,000-seat gym is the main stage for the Bullets basketball, volleyball, and wrestling teams. In 2009-10, the gym received several major upgrades including a new floor, bleachers, lights, and sound system.
The John A. Hauser Fieldhouse is a 24,500 square feet facility that contains three full-size basketball courts, four regulation tennis courts, five volleyball courts, and a 1/11-mile four-lane track. The Fieldhouse is used as a practice venue for many of Gettysburg's varsity and recreational teams, and is often utilized by outside organizations for camps and auctions.
Bobby Jones Field is home to the Gettysburg softball team. The field features brand new dugouts, an outfield fence 215 feet from home plate, state-of-the-art scoreboard and quality bullpens. The facility was named in honor of Robert '65 and Sharon Jones.
Located in the Center for Athletics, Recreation, and Fitness, the 30,000-square-foot Bullets Pool gives the swimming teams one of the most impressive facilities in the Centennial Conference and Division III. The eight-lane, 25-yard competition pool features a movable bulkhead along with a five-lane warm-up area, a substantial improvement over the team’s former six-lane, 25-yard facility in the College Union Building. The expansive venue offers a better experience for fans as well, with its increased lighting and 375-seat spectator gallery. In addition, the natatorium includes new locker rooms and new offices for Gettysburg’s swimming coaches. Other amenities include a scoreboard with an eight-lane readout and increased deck space for land training.
At the center of Gettysburg College’s northern outdoor athletic facilities is Clark Field, which has quickly become one of the top venues in the nation. The complex features state-of-the-art FieldTurf® artificial surface and light towers, which enables varsity athletes to train and compete nearly year round day and night. Recently, a fully operational press box and improved sound system were added.
The home of the Bullets baseball team, Kirchhoff Field is one of the top baseball facilities in the Centennial Conference. The beautiful natural grass surface, perfectly lined field, fence and dugouts highlight the visually pleasing venue.
Musselman Stadium is the home to Gettysburg field hockey, football, men's lacrosse, and men's and women's outdoor track & field. In September 2003, Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium was converted from natural grass to AstroPlay, a state-of-the-art in-fill synthetic grass surface.
Three outdoor tennis courts round out Gettysburg's athletic facilities.
