About Iowa West Sports Plex

Operated by the Council Bluffs Soccer Club and named in honor of the lead donor for the project, the Iowa West SportsPlex is a 75,000 square foot indoor turf facility with the ability to accommodate multiple young athletes from sports including soccer, baseball, and softball with potential for flag football, rugby, lacrosse, ultimate Frisbee and more. The facility offers additional space for speed and agility training to athletes of all ages and a full-service athletic training room. The artificial turf is the size of one regulation youth 11v11 soccer field with the ability to be separated into multiple smaller field configurations.

The Iowa West Sports Plex turf area can be rented in a variety of layouts. We offer full field rentals (U14 and U12 field markings), 1/3 field with U10 perimeter markings, and 1/6 field. Baseball amenities include 1/3 field which includes infield markings and full-length cages that drop from the ceiling for an easy transition. Rent one or all of the batting cages at a time. The upstairs cage area includes 4 permanent soft-toss cages.
