About Northwest Fencing Center

Northwest Fencing Center (NWFC) is a non-profit fencing training facility specializing in foil and epee. Since 1972, we have provided people of all ages with affordable fencing classes, camps, and private lessons.
NWFC began as a group of dedicated fencing athletes and quickly grew to become a pioneer of fencing in Oregon. Today, we continue to grow and are known as an international training and competition hub.

In 2022, we moved to our new facility in Tigard, Oregon, designed and built just for us. With 21 strips, a cushioned flooring system, and all-new gear, we can’t wait to see where this step takes us next.

Our Coaches and Administrative Staff are dedicated to providing a supportive, inspiring, and fun atmosphere. Our goal is to foster a love of the sport and the growth of the athlete, both on the strip and off.

At NWFC, we are a community of friends, colleagues, and athletes. We are committed to providing the best possible instruction for you or your athlete in an encouraging, yet challenging environment.
